Job summary

RAM Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee property maintenance of grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms. The role includes preventive maintenance, small repairs, and communicating larger needs to the General Manager to ensure guest satisfaction.

Successful candidate will manage a small team and perform daily maintenance tasks, including safety and compliance duties, with a focus on quality workmanship and efficiency across the property.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, maintenance or engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, PTAC, gas furnace, electrical, plumbing, and irrigation preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Order and install small maintenance items as needed under management direction.
• Lead a team of two or more staff across departments.
• Complete daily Maintenance Checklist tasks and 24-hour maintenance requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms and property areas.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies on a 24-hour call basis.
• Ensure safe working conditions per OSHA guidelines and safe chemical handling.
