Schulte Hospitality Group seeks an energetic, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn Rockford. This full-time role focuses on preventive maintenance and efficient operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

You will oversee grounds and public areas, respond to maintenance orders, and complete daily rounds. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years hotel maintenance experience, HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Competenze

• Minimum of two to three years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.
• Basic math skills and effective communication in writing and speech.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
