Job summary

gpac is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its technical applications team, supporting milling and food processing systems used for product development, process optimization, and customer trials.

You will troubleshoot equipment, perform maintenance activities, assist with machine setup and changeovers, and develop expertise in how complete processing systems work together. Growth potential into Process Engineering or Technical Applications roles is highlighted.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing environment.
• Associate degree preferred in Maintenance Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems; reading schematics and layouts; working with PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Assist with customer trials and product testing initiatives.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Work with PLC-controlled equipment and automated processing systems.
• Follow SOPs and ensure equipment is properly configured for testing and production activities.
• Identify opportunities for equipment reliability and process improvements.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and technical teams to support customer success.
