Job summary

Remington Hotels is seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer to operate and maintain central HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems at our Las Vegas property. You will perform preventive maintenance and support kitchen, laundry, boiler, and refrigeration equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Excellent diagnostic skills, ability to read blueprints, and strong communication are essential. This in-office role requires initiative and reliability in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen and general building construction.
• Vocational training, associate's degree, certification and/or apprenticeship in one or more area; state certification or licensure where required.
• Understand and efficiently maintain and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings and technical parts breakdown.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• High work ethic and self-initiative

Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)

• Ability to work in a standard office environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
• Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
