Our solutions incorporate contributions from across the Boeing Company for internal and external users in the Military Commercial Derivative Aircraft space. This position gives a unique opportunity to engage with teams from many facets of Boeing’s core businesses and to make a real difference for our customers.

This role will engage with enterprise engineering teams and contribute significantly to change management and configuration management. The position will identify and develop new procedures and product features to support new aircraft modifications, enhance and optimize existing aircraft technical publications based on customer feedback, and provide engineering support to our customers to overcome urgent real‑world challenges.

Position Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on engineering solutions that support maintenance, inspections, repair, replacement of parts, teardown, re‑assembly, calibration, testing and operational checks to ensure proper system performance.
  • Collaborate on engineering solutions to fault isolate and correct malfunctions and verify the service condition of components, system and subsystem of aircraft systems.
  • Ability to work on‑site 5 days per week.
  • May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
  • Provide customer service to end‑users (aircrew, domain experts, and engineering).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by manager or site/shift lead.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week onsite, Tukwila, WA.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 2+ years of experience in the maintenance and/or operation of advanced electronic systems such as aircraft avionics, electronics/computer system, or large network and information systems.
  • Self‑starter with demonstrated curiosity and a strong sense of ownership for deliverables.
  • Team player with a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in the maintenance and/or operation of advanced electronic systems such as aircraft avionics, electronics/computer system, or large network and information systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to tailor messages for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience with FAA regulatory requirements or similar safety‑critical industry standards, including understanding of certification/compliance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complexity and add clarity in ambiguous situations—e.g., structuring unclear problems, framing trade‑offs, and making data‑informed recommendations.
  • Evidence of driving projects to completion with minimal supervision, including prioritizing work, managing dependencies, and meeting commitments.
  • Experience collaborating across functions or organizations and influencing stakeholders to align on technical decisions.
  • Track record of identifying risks early and proposing actionable mitigation plans that protect schedule and resource commitments.
