Maintenance Engineer (1st Class) (Full-Time) - Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort (Finance)

The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a 1st Class Maintenance Engineer to join this incredible team!

Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star property features 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets, including 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.

• Classification: Full-Time
• Shift: Union position - must be available to work days, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Pay Rate: $39.17 per hour plus full benefits.

What will I be doing?

As a 1st Class Operating Engineer, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of the hotel's power plant, ensuring the supply of heat, air-conditioning, steam, water, and related mechanical services. Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the power plant
• Supervising refrigeration, air-conditioning, appliance, and engine-room team members
• Implementing preventive maintenance, making repairs, conducting inventory, and maintaining records
• Monitoring and testing Life Safety Systems according to regulations
• Responding promptly to guest calls and work orders to repair machinery and equipment
