Overview

The Skyline Collection is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer in commercial high-rise office buildings at the 1201 Walnut location in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The role involves maintaining the appearance and mechanical systems of the facility to ensure tenant satisfaction and responding to tenant calls for emergency and maintenance issues.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to tenant/building calls, emergency issues, alarms, power outages, water/plumbing issues, and other repairs.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, plumbing, fire safety, security, and exterior systems.
  • Perform periodic property inspections, including touring, checking systems, and addressing identified needs.
  • Procure parts and supplies from vendors.
  • Handle additional tasks such as painting, tile repair, changing filters, seasonal duties, signage, landscaping, furniture setup, event setup, and teardown.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial office environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing repairs, general carpentry, and painting.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (50+ lbs), walk extensively, and drive as needed.
