Job summary

Sigma Cable Company (Private) Limited seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to plan, lead and execute maintenance and modification activities across facilities in Ohio. You will coordinate a team to perform corrective and preventive tasks, interpret drawings, manage costs, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and strong communication skills to lead a team effectively.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead team for corrective and preventive maintenance, repairs and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HSE and other statutory requirements; maintain documentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings and communicate to the team.
• Plan, monitor and control preventive maintenance schedule and costs.
• Perform risk assessments and develop safe work procedures.
• Conduct installation/removal and commissioning/decommissioning of machines.
• Monitor and maintain machine supplies inventory.
• Assist in fulfilling statutory requirements and liaise with third-party contractors.
• Manage and train team members.
