Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to oversee autonomous and preventive maintenance for long-term machine reliability in a can-making facility. You will diagnose complex issues, analyze performance data, and train machine setters to raise troubleshooting proficiency.

Responsibilities include optimizing parameters, conducting RCA/CAPA, and supporting equipment modernization while adhering to GMP and 5S standards.

Qualifications

  • Technical secondary school or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 7 years in can-making with at least 3 years in machine setting.
  • Ability to communicate in business language.

  • Working knowledge of TPM and Autonomous Maintenance (AM).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Participate in servicing, overhauls, fault removal, and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct trials and tests to optimize settings and new components.
  • Advise on spare parts and tools selection and availability.
  • Participate in expansion and modernization projects.
  • Ensure GMP, 5S, and continuous improvement adherence.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of machines through comprehensive management of their utilization, maintenance, and modernization.

Tasks and duties
  • 1. Plan, develop, and execute autonomous and preventive maintenance activities to ensure long-term (operational continuous) machine reliability, minimize downtime, and support optimal production performance.
  • 2. Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve machine malfunctions, including complex technical issues, without supervision.
  • 3. Analyze operational data related to machine performance to identify irregularities and optimize maintenance and operational processes.
  • 4. Share expert knowledge and provide on-the-job training to Machine Setters, supporting their skill development on troubleshooting.
  • 5. Advise on adjustment of machine parameters and machine optimizations to improve efficiency, reduce lost time, and enhance product quality.
  • 6. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for machine failures, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence and support continuous improvement.
  • 7. Actively participate in machine servicing and overhaul activities, including direct fault removal, diagnosing causes of failures, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to ensure equipment continuity and minimize production downtime.
  • 8. Conduct trials and tests related to machine settings, new tools, and components to optimize operating parameters, ensure compliance with technological requirements, and support the launch and implementation of new production solutions.
  • 9. Provide expert advice on the selection of spare parts and tools (SPT), participate in their implementation process, and ensure their availability and compliance with technological and operational requirements.
  • 10. Participate in machine expansion and modernization projects.
  • 11. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Maintain the area in accordance with 5S standards and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • 12. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, in line with the scope of the position and employment agreement

Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety. Solid understanding of production processes, equipment, and technical operations. Working knowledge of maintenance-related standards and procedures, includingTotal Productive Maintenance (TPM), Autonomous Maintenance (AM). Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Communication and Working Relationships

Communicate regularly with production, maintenance, technology, and quality departments to ensure efficient machine performance, coordinate maintenance activities, and support process improvements. May participate in communication with Group Technical Service, or external consultants during equipment-related inspections or improvement projects. May communicate with external service providers, auditors, or inspectors during visits, audits, or compliance checks. The employee may be required to engage in additional forms of communication as directed by the Company in alignment with operational requirements and based on business needs.
