Job summary

The Barnett is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform routine and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas in a vibrant New Orleans hotel. You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues and respond promptly to guest and staff requests, documenting work orders and repairs with accuracy.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC/electrical/plumbing training and prior hotel or commercial building maintenance experience, with strong safety

This role ensures all guest rooms, public areas, and building systems remain in good working order by completing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and supporting overall property upkeep.
