Job description

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Indiana! The candidate will lead the execution of all maintenance work and projects in the plant.

Pay Range

This range is provided by Judge Direct Placement. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Responsibilities:

1. Optimize all maintenance functions, including PPM, spare parts, scheduling, and performance.
2. Supervise and coach all direct reports, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback.
3. Develop plans for major maintenance projects and shutdowns.
4. Support maintenance budgets' development, control, and tracking.
5. Coordinate planning/scheduling, inventory control, and maintenance purchasing.
6. Administer PPM projects and parts inventory for all equipment.
7. Perform engineering analyses to determine root causes of failures.
8. Analyze equipment history and line event data.
9. Oversee the maintenance parts room.
10. Manage scheduling and planning of maintenance work using CMMS.
11. Establish measurement techniques and identify improvement areas for the maintenance department.
12. Maintain equipment and facility documents and drawings.
13. Support assigned projects and daily activities.
14. Communicate with operations and vendors regarding equipment issues and capital projects.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of direct maintenance supervisory experience.
2. Prior food manufacturing experience.
3. Strong written and oral communication skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS.
