Role Description

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and safe operation of hotel facilities and equipment. This full-time, on-site role in Fort Lauderdale, FL involves performing routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as guest rooms and public areas. The Maintenance Engineer will conduct regular inspections, diagnose issues, complete work orders, and carry out preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. The role includes collaborating with other departments to respond to guest needs, ensuring compliance with safety and brand standards, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications
