Job summary

The Dillard House, a Farm Resort, seeks a skilled maintenance professional to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and facilities across resort and restaurant operations.

You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing and Life Safety System work, uphold OSHA standards, maintain the preventative maintenance program, and keep a daily log documenting all activities.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining machinery, electrical, and plumbing in hospitality settings.
• Ability to perform HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Systems and OSHA compliance.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs.

This one-of-a-kind property is nestled in the picturesque Tennessee River Valley within a two-hour drive north of Atlanta in Rabun County. It will represent tradition with authentically sourced cuisine, numerous outdoor activities and outstanding southern charm and hospitality.Summary: Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems in resort and restaurant facilities.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures, including electrical systems and plumbing.Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on Life Safety Systems and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.Maintain and repair hotel aesthetics (painting, furniture maintenance, etc.).Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program, ensuring quarterly inspections and proper documentation.Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose issues.Perform welding, installation of pipe systems, and repairs of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.Respond to maintenance requests from housekeeping and guest requests.Perform regular checks of emergency lighting, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment.Maintain a daily maintenance log and ensure all work is documented.
