Maintenance Position Announcement

Butler County Community College (BC3) is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance position, starting immediately. The role may include afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts as needed.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for building trade and ground maintenance, including diagnosis, repair, and operation of college-owned or leased facilities, grounds, vehicles, and mechanical equipment. The goal is to maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable environment.

Qualifications include:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent, plus three years of experience in general building maintenance and repairs.
  2. Experience in a multi-facility maintenance department.
  3. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, HVAC, appliance repair, and testing meters.
  4. Ability to demonstrate skills through performance or experience.
  5. Valid PA driver’s license.
