Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a qualified Fire Alarm and Security Systems Technician to join our Camden, SC facilities team. The role coordinates inspections with the state Fire Marshall, maintains alarm systems, and installs security and access control components.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid SC driver's license, and the ability to lift 75 pounds. You must be able to work in hot, cold, dusty, and wet conditions and operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Fire Marshall inspections with state Fire Marshall. Conduct resolution walkthrough with key administration staff and maintenance staff for any/all violations noted.
• Maintain/repair fire alarm systems.
• Schedule fire alarm annual inspection and repair deficiencies as noted Maintain/repair and install security systems.
• Maintain/repair and install security doors and fire doors.
• Assist electricians as needed.

• Install/maintain/repair sound systems for football, baseball, softball fields and multi-purpose rooms.
• Maintain/repair score boards for football, basketball, baseball, and softball fields.
• Schedule fire sprinkler and fire pumps annual inspections and repair deficiencies as noted.
• Maintain/repair/install bus camera systems.
• Maintain/repair analog camera systems also adjust and move IP cameras Maintain/repair access control system.
• Repair computer outlets and installation of new outlets.
• Maintain/repair/install phone lines for fax machines and dialer for fire alarm systems.
• Install/maintain/repair security doors and fire doors.
• Assist electricians as needed.
