Accord Carton is searching for a highly motivated Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of electro-mechanical equipment. You will use your skills to diagnose problems, ensure efficient operation, and minimize downtime. This position will work the second (2nd) shift.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

1. Install, fix, and keep machines running—especially those with both electrical and mechanical parts, like automated equipment.
2. Answer service calls and diagnose issues with electrical and mechanical components of machines.
3. Perform regular check-ups and maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.
4. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and instructions to facilitate repairs.
5. Utilize hand tools, power tools, meters, and other equipment to complete tasks.
6. Maintain detailed records of repairs, service calls, and maintenance activities.
7. Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers as needed.
8. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

1. At least 2 years of experience in repairing and maintaining machines with electrical and mechanical systems.
2. Strong understanding of electrical systems, electronics, and industrial machinery.
3. Experience with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and electronics is a significant advantage.
4. Experience in the printing or packaging industry is preferred.
5. Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex machine issues.
6. Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints.
7. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
8. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
