Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. You will assist in the operation and upkeep of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems, performing essential repairs and preventive tasks to ensure a safe, functional environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, coordinating tests to meet codes, keeping accurate maintenance records, and supporting on-the-job training for teammates while following

Qualifications

• Ability to perform electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per codes.
• Able to communicate in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Must document records neatly and accurately; basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in operation and maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems; performs essential repairs.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical problems and malfunctions as scheduled or needed.
• Coordinates and tests electrical systems as required by codes.
• Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance daily.
• Handles emergency calls and on-call as required.
• Keeps complete maintenance records; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Monitors outside contractor work for quality and documentation.
• Reports hazards and needed repairs to facilities management.
• Provides on-the-job skills training to teammates; follows safety protocols.
