Trane Technologies seeks a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform routine and complex electrical maintenance for industrial equipment. Candidates should be journeymen with PLC experience and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. This role includes troubleshooting, machine maintenance, and possibly training lower-level mechanics.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Perform routine and complicated maintenance work including basic and advanced PLC work. Provide work direction to Maintenance Mechanic A (electrician trade). Perform other related work as assigned.
Must be a journeyman (electrical preferred) with PLC experience and a minimum of 5 years’ experience performing complex work in industrial electrical, electronics, computer and PLC maintenance.Experience and competency in electronics including:
Demonstrated competency with Allen-Bradley PLC 5000, PanelView and SLC 500 equipment shown by passing Allen-Bradley skills requirement criteria.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs any combination of (but not limited to) the following duties according to specific department guidelines:
· Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.
· Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment to such as multi-meters, ammeters, megohm meters, high potential testers, oscilloscopes, digital probes to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
· Effectively communicate problems and solutions to resolve mechanical problems.
· Participate in the on-the-job training of line mechanics and apprentices as needed.
· Use computerized maintenance system to retrieve and enter information.
· Observe safe work practices and ensure work does not endanger others.
· Perform other duties as required
