Job Description
Performs troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems (e.g., PLCs, VFD and PWM Drives, servo motors), understanding schematics and blueprints, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing components, and conducting regular checks to ensure systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, including programmable controllers, PLCs, and equipment from Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Fanuc.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions for scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and inspections.
- Ability to repair equipment/components without diagrams or instructions when necessary.
- Plan and perform work based on electrical and electronic theory, wiring standards, and safety codes.
- Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and specifications for repairs and maintenance.
- Install, repair, modify, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical units and controls.
- Follow all safety regulations and report hazards.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial automation or a degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field.
- Extensive experience with automation, including robotics (Fanuc and/or Motoman preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and drawings (Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic).
- Proficiency with electrical tools, gauges, and manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work overtime, different shifts, and weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and operate lifts and ladders.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Strength and stamina for heavy lifting and extended work hours.
- Good vision and hand-eye coordination for reading schematics and manipulating parts.
- Ability to work safely in hazardous environments and in high-risk conditions.

- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
