Position Overview

As part of the talented maintenance team, you will learn the skills to become a Journeyworker Electrician by working alongside experienced electricians and attending schooling at Wisconsin Technical College System. You will assist with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, gaining hands-on experience and understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.

Essential Functions

At the end of your four-year apprenticeship, you will be responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor for:

  • Quality and quantity of product
  • Completion of all assigned tasks
  • Tools and equipment management
  • Adherence to all company policies
  • Performing work according to safety policies, industry standards, and safe practices

During your apprenticeship, you will learn to:

  • Read electrical and electronic schematic drawings
  • Install and maintain electrical equipment
  • Establish secondary distribution centers, balance loads, and wire circuits
  • Wire and layout new or rebuilt machines
  • Diagnose and maintain electrical motors
  • Troubleshoot equipment using PC-based systems
  • Perform work per state and local requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 18 years of age

The pay range is $33.67-$39.99 hourly, depending on experience and location. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, 401(k) with match, HSA, wellness programs, and discounts.
