Job summary

Rockmart Fuel Containment is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in our aerospace/defense manufacturing facility in Rockmart. You will read schematics and diagrams, install wiring, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of electrician experience, knowledge of NEC, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Proficient with electrical testing devices and tools.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Experience with wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Familiarity with National Electric Code and local regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience supervising or training staff.
• Minimum 2–5 years of electrician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Inspect electrical systems regularly and identify issues.
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
