The Gill Corporation is one of the world's largest manufacturers of honeycomb, high performance floor panels, cargo compartment liners and original equipment for passenger and freighter aircraft. The company also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads, honeycomb core and related products.

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Electrician, who under minimal supervision is responsible for planning, laying out, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems and industrial equipment. This role supports production by ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including automatic and process controls, switchboards, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, and electronic control systems.
  • Plan and lay out wiring for complex circuits and equipment installations with multiple connections.
  • Set up and maintain secondary distribution systems, including load balancing and power distribution.
  • Diagnose electrical issues, replace or repair defective components (e.g., control modules), and perform testing and system adjustments.
  • Perform general maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Rebuild and upgrade machinery and equipment as needed to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Read, interpret, and create electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
  • Maintain flexibility to support operations across all shifts as needed.
  • Other essential duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications
