Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks an experienced electrician to repair and maintain CNC and manual controlled machinery, instrumentation, and related systems. You will diagnose and fix issues across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication domains to keep plant equipment at peak performance.

The role requires completion of the Electrician A Test, familiarity with Siemens 840D/Step 7 or Fanuc controls, LOTO training, and at least 3 years of electrician experience.

Qualifications

• Electrician A Test completed.
• Solid understanding of Siemens 840D and Step7 or Fanuc controls.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout procedures and high voltage systems.
• Minimum of 3 years electrician experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; military or school training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve equipment performance issues across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication systems.
• Perform electrical preventative maintenance using check-sheets, setting alignment checking methods, evaluating data, and coordinating adjustments.
• Install, repair, test, and calibrate intricate AC and DC electrical systems, including motor-starting circuits, AC magnetic circuits, pilot device systems, pressure and limit switches, and solenoid valves.
• Determine replacement parts and submit material requisitions to ensure seamless operations.

Join Siemens Energy as you take on the vital role of repairing and maintaining CNC machinery, Manual Controlled machinery (NC), and instrumentation. You will engage with complex electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication systems, diagnosing and correcting performance issues. How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will diagnose and resolve equipment performance issues across complex electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication systems.
• Perform electrical preventative maintenance (PMs) using provided check-sheets, setting alignment checking methods, evaluating data, and coordinating necessary adjustments.
• You will install, repair, test, and calibrate intricate AC and DC electrical systems, including motor-starting circuits, AC magnetic circuits, pilot device systems, pressure and limit switches, and solenoid valves.
• Determine replacement parts and submit material requisitions to ensure seamless operations.

What You Bring

• You have passed the Electrician A Test, showcasing your technical proficiency.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Siemens 840D and Step 7 or Fanuc controls.
• Familiarity and training in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and high voltage systems.
• You bring a minimum of 3 years of electrician experience to the team.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required, with additional relevant military or school training accepted.
• Your vision is correctable to 20/40, and you can lift more than 25 pounds while passing a hearing test and a Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate - Silver Status is required.
