Job summary

RedTown Technical Services, LLC is seeking an Electrician to install, repair and maintain electrical systems at the Taft Correctional Institution. The role requires reading blueprints, performing electrical maintenance, and documenting work meticulously.

You will support energy management and respond to emergencies as needed. Qualified candidates hold a C-10 license and can work in accordance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current C-10 license.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams for wiring and controls.
• Experience using ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers.
• Strong commitment to state/local regulations and safe work practices.
• Excellent written documentation of repairs and materials used.
• Good communication with electricians, contractors, and staff.
• Physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain electrical systems at Taft Correctional Institute.
• Perform general electrical maintenance, inspect and repair components.
• Maintain documentation of repairs and services.
• Monitor inventories and ensure uninterrupted electrical service.
• Maintain electrical distribution systems per standards and policy.
• Assist energy management initiatives and document changes.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including after-hours when needed.
