Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Hiram, OH to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food manufacturing facility. You will work with the maintenance team on complex repairs, read schematics, and perform preventive maintenance.

Requirements include 3+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Ability to read schematics and use standard diagnostic tools.
• PL C troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming experience is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with workplace safety practices.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.

Please apply only if you live within about a 45-minute drive of Hiram.Pay: $34.10–$36.70/hr depending on experience, plus a $2.10/hr night premium on 12-hour nights.Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shifts.
