Job summary

The Stow Company in Nampa, ID is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to maintain production equipment and the facility to enable safe, efficient production of custom closet and organizational solutions.

You will troubleshoot electrical, electronic and PLC systems, read schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and work with the team to meet production goals while honoring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electricians License issued by the state of Idaho.
• 5-10 years Manufacturing/Industrial Automation experience preferred.

Job description

The Stow Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Electrician located in Nampa, ID. We are the country’s premier source for custom closets and organizational solutions; designed, custom-cut, and shipped directly to our clients.

Position Summary:

This position maintains production equipment and the working facility to enable teams to safely manufacture high quality products in an efficient, timely and complete manner.

Essential Functions:

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Complete a variety of projects as assigned
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, and PLC issues
• Utilize basic machining tools, powered hand tools, and other maintenance-related equipment
• Read machine drawings and control schematics
• Apply electrical, electronic, and PLC experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Journeyman Electricians License issued by the state of Idaho
• 5-10 years Manufacturing/Industrial Automation experience preferred

• Valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, etc.
• Able to perform full range of body movements, such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Able to perform activities requiring repetitive motions
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Able to tolerate an environment where sawdust particles are present
• Ability to provide and receive communication in an environment with a high level of ambient noise
• Sitting at workstation approximately 5 percent of work time
• Standing and walking approximately 95 percent of work time
• Must be able to travel between plant and office locations
• Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice
• Manufacturing environment with multiple machinery and moving parts, narrow aisles and passageways

The Stow Company may temporarily assign any team member with duties outside of their normal responsibilities. Such assignments may be warranted due to a variety of specific requirements, conditions and/or the capabilities of available personnel. Management will determine the nature and duration of those assignments.

Schedule:

4 x 10 rotating weekday schedule. Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday

Hours:

5:00am - 3:30pm
