Job summary

Manpower is assisting a leading manufacturing organization in York, PA to hire a Maintenance Electrician for the 1st shift (7am-3pm). You will support plant operations by maintaining electrical, PLCs, and mechanical systems, troubleshoot issues, and upgrade equipment for safety and productivity.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus 4–10 years of related experience, ability to read schematics/blueprints, and willingness to work a physically demanding environment with on-call

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4-10 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Experience working with electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Availability for 24-hour on-call rotations and additional training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and equipment systems, including electrical, PLCs, and mechanical components
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical machinery
• Install new machinery and upgrade existing systems for safety and productivity improvements
• Assist in maintaining fire alarm, CO2 systems, boiler steam systems, and air compressors
• Support plant operations by assisting in various maintenance tasks and responding to emergencies

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join their team. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with benefits.
