Base pay range

$24.00/hr - $30.25/hr

Summary/Objective

The Maintenance Master Electrician is a person who has received official recognition and certification or degree from a state licensing body or professional organization. This person is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Essential Functions
  • Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines using hand-tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Observing machinery in operation and listening to sounds to locate the cause of trouble.
  • Dismantling machinery to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand-tools, and power tools.
  • Performing periodic inspections and preventative maintenance, such as lubricating and cleaning parts.
  • Repairing or replacing defective parts using hand-tools and power tools.
  • Inspecting electrical wiring, switches, and controls for safe operating conditions, grounding, and adjustments, following regulations and repair manuals.
  • Disassembling, adjusting, aligning, and calibrating gauges and meters.
  • Installing, dismantling, and moving machines, conveyors, and other equipment.

Constructing new facilities and remodeling existing ones, using knowledge of carpentry, electrical wiring, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and painting, following blueprints, work orders, and specifications.

Required Education And Experience
  • Master Electrician License
  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial skills, some PLC experience, and HVAC.
Preferred Education And Experience
  • An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
  • Experience with vacuum furnaces, carpentry, and 3-phase electrical systems.

PTO starts accruing day one of employment, with the potential to earn 80 hours in the first year.
