About The Role
Amsted Automotive Group, Cold Form & Finishing, business unit is seeking an experienced 1st shift (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Maintenance Electrician to meet production requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Repair and maintain building, lathes, and equipment throughout the plant.
- Perform adjustments, repairs, or replacements on motors, controls, and other electrical equipment.
- Support team goals in the assembly and press departments.
- Participate in press setups, teamwork, and continuous improvement of setup times.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety practices.
- Handle all preventive maintenance tasks, corrective actions, and improvements to assigned equipment.
- Follow maintenance systems and proper documentation procedures, including work instructions, downtime recording, and work orders.
- Promote lean manufacturing principles and participate in waste elimination initiatives.
- Support the company’s goals and objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Knowledge of lathes, conveyors, CNCs, washers, assembly machines, automation, and related machinery.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, lubrication, and hydraulic circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with NFP70E standards.

What Else You'll Need To Know
- Availability for necessary overtime.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Proficiency with computers, printers, calculators, and machinery control panels.
- Ability to perform extended sitting, standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
Experience Required
- At least 5 years in manufacturing.
Education Preferred
- Technical training or higher.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
