About The Role

Amsted Automotive Group, Cold Form & Finishing, business unit is seeking an experienced 1st shift (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Maintenance Electrician to meet production requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Repair and maintain building, lathes, and equipment throughout the plant.
  • Perform adjustments, repairs, or replacements on motors, controls, and other electrical equipment.
  • Support team goals in the assembly and press departments.
  • Participate in press setups, teamwork, and continuous improvement of setup times.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety practices.
  • Handle all preventive maintenance tasks, corrective actions, and improvements to assigned equipment.
  • Follow maintenance systems and proper documentation procedures, including work instructions, downtime recording, and work orders.
  • Promote lean manufacturing principles and participate in waste elimination initiatives.
  • Support the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Knowledge of lathes, conveyors, CNCs, washers, assembly machines, automation, and related machinery.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, lubrication, and hydraulic circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with NFP70E standards.
