Qualifications

Job Description

Typical Day

• Safety: Safety is our number one priority. You’ll learn our plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training including lockout/tagout, arc flash, forklift certification, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
• Quality: We take pride in our output, and you take pride in ensuring our equipment is running smoothly and safely.
• High-Speed, Loud Environment: We manufacture plastic pails through injection and blow molding machining. It’s fast and can be loud. Some areas of the plant get very warm in the summer.
• Hard work: Each day you’ll be bending, lifting, stooping, and repairing equipment. You will replace sensors, contacts, or other defective parts. You’ll work with PLC equipment, multiple small tools, and high-voltage equipment. You are responsible for keeping your equipment in safe, usable condition and your area safe and tidy at all times.
• Supportive Team: Everybody plays an integral part in this work-family as we strive to reach all our goals and deliver an excellent product.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and electronic documentation and drawings and interpret equipment data
• Experience and demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting skills, preferably in PLC motor controls and electrical equipment
• Perform PLC programming & diagnostics on various systems and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as relays, contactors, overloads, timers, photodetection & proximity switches or light curtains
• Strong understanding of Allen Bradley Control Systems, RS Logic 5000 & Seimens S7 preferred
• Experience with Fanuc and Toshiba a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good mathematical and organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work multiple shifts and or overtime
