Job summary

NEXXTA is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician in Mansfield, OH to support maintenance and reliability of injection molding and manufacturing operations. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and automated controls with a focus on minimizing downtime.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman Electrician license and 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with strong PLC troubleshooting skills and familiarity with 480VAC systems.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as Journeyman/Industrial Electrician in manufacturing.
• Experience in an injection molding/plastics facility preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and controls-related equipment failures using prints, schematics, PLC diagnostics, meters, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including inputs, outputs, sensors, interlocks, communications, and control circuits.
• Connect to PLC systems to assist with troubleshooting machine faults and determine root causes.
• Perform electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades to manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, wiring diagrams, control drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and controls systems.
