Job summary

Six Flags Externtainment Co. is seeking a Mid-level Maintenance Electrician in Amherst, OH to provide electrical support and repairs on food, laundry, lighting, and various park facilities. The role requires the ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a union environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining ride controls, reading electrical schematics, and delivering excellent guest service while upholding safety and cleanliness standards across the park.

Qualifications

• 5 years electrical experience preferred.
• Must join electrical union if not already a member.
• IBEW member desired, not necessary.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot controls and lights on rides, buildings, signs, & overhead lighting as necessary.
• Read and interpret electrical prints/schematics.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and comply with Six Flags Entertainment Co.

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

The Maintenance Electrician will provide electrical support and maintenance repairs on food equipment, laundry equipment, and lighting. Will also provide maintenance and repairs on amusement rides, hotels, waterparks, campgrounds, marina, and any other areas of the facility.
