Job summary

Cedar Point is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform electrical upkeep across rides, buildings, and park facilities in Ohio. The role includes troubleshooting lighting and controls, and maintaining equipment essential to guest experiences.

The position requires availability for nights, weekends and holiday periods; prior union affiliation (IBEW) is preferred, with potential union membership for non-members. A valid U.S. driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years electrical experience preferred.
• IBEW membership desired, not required.
• Must join electrical union if not already a member.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must meet scheduling availability including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot controls and lighting on rides, buildings, signs, and overhead areas.
• Perform electrical maintenance on food and laundry equipment, as well as lighting.
• Support maintenance across amusement rides, hotels, waterparks, campgrounds, marina, and surrounding facility areas.
• Provide excellent guest service.

Overview:

Salary Details: $42.40/hr

• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Externtainment Co.
• Read and interpret electrical prints/ schematics.
• Provide excellent guest service.
