Job summary

Huntington Hospital is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrical Journeyman to perform critical electrical system upkeep in a busy hospital environment. You will maintain normal and emergency power distribution, test generators, and troubleshoot BAS and nurse call systems.

You will work days, with minimal supervision, and may rotate weekends. A high school diploma, five years journeyman experience in hospital settings, and CA licensure are required, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
• CA Driver's License required.
• Journeyman Electrician Certification issued by CA DIR required.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.
• Ability to supervise and train others in electrical work.
• Basic Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
• BAS knowledge and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of hospital-owned electrical systems.
• Repair and testing of normal and emergency power distribution, ATS, and generators.
• Troubleshoot lighting, controls, and nurse call/BAS systems.
• Provide skilled maintenance and collaborative problem solving.
• Work with flexible scheduling, including weekends as needed.
