Maintenance E&I Technician - Experienced in primary crafts

Job Location and Facility Details

The Cypress Bend facility, located in the Mississippi River Delta, produces bleached paperboard and Kraft pulp used in various packaging products. It has over 300 employees and covers 730 acres. The area offers outdoor activities and community involvement opportunities, with proximity to several schools and colleges.

Responsibilities
  • Perform primary electrical crafts and assist in others including electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, pipefitting, millwright, machining, welding, auto/diesel mechanics.
  • Change out equipment and operate tools safely.
  • Operate company vehicles like forklifts and cranes.
  • Maintain safety standards and participate in incident investigations.
  • Inspect and operate equipment ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Electro/mechanical Technology or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Certification in primary electrical crafts.
  • Ability to perform work independently and safely.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working in demanding environments, and on rotating shifts.
Additional Information

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. The position is full-time, with potential overtime, night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
