Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college or trade school preferred.
• Minimum five years general maintenance experience.
• At least three years apartment maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/paint, carpentry, ceramic/tile.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property to determine units or systems needing maintenance and report to Community Director.
• Assist Community Director with move-out inspections.
• Ensure work is completed timely, professionally and in compliance with regulations.
• Complete resident service orders promptly per Company standards.
• Maintain property's appearance, curb appeal and upkeep.
• Follow OSHA and Company safety standards.
• Handle after-hours emergencies as directed by Community Director.
• Assist in training and direction of maintenance team.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and keep vendor list updated.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
