The right candidate will manage daily operations, schedule preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with regulations while coordinating with other facility teams.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, construction, or handyman experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and repair methods.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working around residents in a long-term care environment.
• Must pass background screening (per state and facility requirements).

Responsibilities

• Perform light carpentry, painting, and basic plumbing as needed.
• Support groundskeeping: mowing, trimming, minor outdoor cleanup.
• Help with room turnovers, hanging fixtures, and small projects.
• Conduct daily checks on facility equipment and safety items.
• Respond to work orders in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and supply areas.
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines.
• Maintain records that keep facility in compliance with regulations.
