Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance of buildings, grounds, security, and mechanical assets of the community.
  • Oversee housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services according to established policies.
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of the campus, ensuring high standards of construction and safety.
  • Develop vendor relationships and negotiate maintenance contracts.
  • Conduct apartment inspections prior to occupancy.
  • Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
  • Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs and work order systems.
  • Lead housekeeping and laundry operations in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Review financial statements and develop action plans for any deficiencies.
  • Manage monthly expenses and budgets efficiently.
  • Staff and schedule team members according to operational needs and budgets.
  • Ensure transportation vehicles are maintained, inspected, and operated safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor’s/Technical degree in a related field.
  • At least four years of maintenance supervision experience.
  • HVAC training or experience.
  • Knowledge of machinery, tools, plumbing, electrical systems, and repair techniques.
  • Experience with fire panels, emergency response systems, and disaster preparedness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Leadership qualities that motivate and inspire teams.
