Position Summary

Responsible for the overall maintenance of the center and maintenance budget. Duties include preventative maintenance and repairs inside and outside the center, ensuring a safe, attractive, and orderly environment for residents, employees, and visitors. Conduct routine tests and inspections on systems such as emergency generators, sprinkler systems, door alarms, call light systems, hood/duct systems, and hot water systems. Responsible for fire drills and updating fire and disaster preparedness plans.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than three violations in the past three years)
• No reckless driving or DUI/DWI in the past seven years
• Competence in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plastering, and painting
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Computer skills with Microsoft products
• Ability to work on-call
