Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Administering and directing the environmental services program to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Procurement and generation of utilities and their distribution systems
• Coordinating activities with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Attending staff meetings to understand facility policies, assist in their development, and interpret these policies to environmental staff
• Potentially directing safety, fire control, security, civil-defense programs, and participating in infection control programs
