Extended Care is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Director in Westmont, IL to oversee the Planning, Organization, Staffing, and Coordination of the Maintenance, Laundry, and Housekeeping departments. The role ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility with reliable laundry services for residents and linens.

The ideal candidate will lead staffing, equipment maintenance, and life-safety initiatives, while ensuring regulatory compliance and a collaborative work environment for a full-time

• Leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to recruit, interview, and hire staff.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire personnel to maintain staffing levels.
• Oversee scheduling of staff to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Supervise purchasing, storage, and distribution of supplies.
• Conduct fire, disaster, and evacuation drills for all shifts.
• On-call 24/7 for emergencies and urgent repairs.
• Oversee life safety inspections (fire alarms, sprinklers, generators).
• Ensure operation and maintenance of equipment across departments.
