Accolade Healthcare in Paxton, IL seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee the facility and grounds, perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, and general repair or renovation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and compassion for older adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and electronically.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all aspects of the facility remain in a good state of repair.
• Oversee maintenance assistant staff productivity, schedules, and performance.
• Handle work order requests on a daily basis.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance that does not require specialty vendors.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (24 hours a day) for emergency maintenance needs.
• Direct routine janitorial duties to keep the building and grounds clean and neat.
• Coordinate snow removal and landscaping tasks not handled by outside contractors.
• Perform routine inspections of the building’s interior and exterior.
• Manage mandatory annual facility inspections and complete required documentation.
• Deliver the highest quality of customer service to residents.
• Manage maintenance supplies, monitor inventory, and order as needed.

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Director, you will work under the general direction of the facility Administrator and with oversight from the Regional Facilities Director. Your primary responsibilities include managing the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds, performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Pay Rate: $50,000-$68,500 annually

Duties And Responsibilities
