Job summary

WellBridge of Clarkston is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead day-to-day facility maintenance, oversee HVAC systems, lighting, grounds keeping, and coordinate with vendors and contractors. The role involves supervising maintenance staff, managing the department budget, and ensuring compliance with state survey requirements.

You will drive preventive maintenance programs, plan facility modifications, and ensure safe, well-maintained surroundings for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related facility maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical repair abilities.
• Knowledge of building and electrical codes.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting the team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications and equipment repairs.
• Direct and ensure preventive maintenance of the facility, including HVAC and other facility equipment.
• Arrange for and manage third-party contractor support, including cost estimates.
• Direct and oversee facility grounds keeping and overall facility appearance.
• Direct and ensure facility compliance with annual State survey requirements.
• Prepare and administer the department budget.
• Develop and maintain department policies and procedures, including safety policies.
• Order and maintain supplies for the department cost effectively.
• Ensure daily completion of all maintenance work orders using the electronic system.

How you will help people every day:

• Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications and equipment repairs.

• 5+ years of related facility maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
• Knowledge of various building and electrical codes.
