Job summary

Madison Healthcare in Madison, OH is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the facility’s maintenance, safety, and equipment performance. This role demands strong leadership and hands-on expertise to keep the environment safe and compliant.

You will manage preventive maintenance, coordinate with outside vendors, ensure compliance with Life Safety Code and regulations, and respond to after-hours emergencies to keep the facility safe for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience required
• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care facility preferred
• Experience with sewer plant operations and state regulations
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, Life Safety Code, and facility safety requirements
• Ability to maintain required inspections, logs, and documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Must be dependable and able to work independently
• Must be available for after-hours emergency calls as needed

Responsibilities
