Job summary

Palm Garden is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead the maintenance team across our Florida skilled nursing facilities, focusing on resident safety and reliable facility operations. This role requires knowledge of Life Safety, CMS, and regulatory surveys, with hands-on oversight of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

You will manage preventive maintenance programs, ensure compliance with AHCA/CMS/OSHA, and drive continuous improvement while supporting a compassionate, resident-centered

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience as a Maintenance Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility, with Life Safety, CMS and survey knowledge.
• Current experience in HVAC, electrical and plumbing is a plus.
• Routine preventive maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Ensure compliance withAHCA, CMS, OSHA and local health department requirements
• Oversee fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, generators and emergency preparedness plans
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules specific to healthcare equipment
• Lead maintenance staff while ensuring resident safety

What We Are Looking For

• 1-3 years experience as a Physical Plant Manager or Maintenance Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility to include Life Safety, CMS, Infection Control and Survey requirement knowledge
• Current experience in HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing a plus!
• Routine preventive maintenance experience
