Job summary

North Port Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead the maintenance team, oversee facility operations, and ensure life safety compliance in a healthcare setting.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets and capital projects, and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs to keep a safe, well‑maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in Environmental Services, Plant Operations, or Maintenance within a healthcare setting.
• SNF experience required.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and mechanical operations.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and CMS regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead teams, prioritize tasks, and manage complex maintenance issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities
