Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Derby, Kansas community. You will supervise and coordinate the maintenance department, ensuring sanitary, attractive, and orderly conditions and compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems, and maintaining high-quality laundry services, while projecting a professional image and clear communication with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings is required.
• Minimum of one year of prior supervisory experience is required.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department.
• Ensure environmental center compliance per Federal, State and Local ordinances.
• Keep the community sanitary, attractive, and orderly.
• Ensure the community is free from hazards in electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems.

Requirements
