Job summary

The Views of Cedar Rapids in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to oversee community maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry programs.

You will repair and maintain the facilities and grounds, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, clean, and compassionate environment for residents in our assisted living community.

This role requires reliability, initiative, and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; basic training in mechanics, electricity, plumbing, hardware, and landscaping preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to operate common machines and hand tools.
• Minimum two years experience in an assisted living community or similar setting.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written directions.
• Experience dealing with elderly and their needs and requests.
• Supervisory experience required.
