Job summary

Healthcare Nursing of Connecticut is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to uphold safety, comfort, and upkeep across our skilled nursing facility. You will lead maintenance tasks, manage the budget, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Reporting to the Nursing Home Administrator, you will oversee vendors, supervise the maintenance team, conduct inspections, and implement preventive maintenance to keep the facility running smoothly for residents.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Working knowledge of state and federal Life Safety Code.
• At least 1 year experience as Maintenance Director in a skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing a range of maintenance tasks.
