Gracy Woods II Nursing Home is seeking a maintenance supervisor to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the facility's upkeep. You will oversee plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and grounds maintenance while coordinating outside service contracts and transportation equipment.

The role requires strong English communication, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of physical plant maintenance. On-call availability is required, with weekend and evening shifts as assigned.

REPORTS TO: Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate maintenance program and services, groundsmaintenance and upkeep. Direct or perform duties concerned with plumbing, painting, carpentry,mechanical, heating, cooling, water systems and minor electrical. Monitor and supervises all servicecontracts or other outside contract work. Directs or performs duties concerned with maintenance ofgrounds, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, security etc. Directs or performs duties related totransportation, including maintenance of vehicles, and other campus equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

WORK SCHEDULE:

As assigned; including some weekends, holidays and evening. On Call 24 Hours. Non-Exempt Position

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling,reaching and lifting in excess of 150 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations. Manual dexterity required performing tasks including climbing ladders and crawling in confined spaces toperform work. This may involve the ability to work in some extreme and uncomfortable position,suchas hot and cold weather or inclement weather.
